Client Tea Parties
Our Clients love joining in the fun at our tea parties, held locally by our not for profit sister company, Abbots Friends. We run tea parties three times per year and all Clients and family members are welcome.
Our tea parties are a great place to connect, meet new people and enjoy some delicious food.

In October we celebrated our care team across all three branches at our annual awards evening. The making a difference award recognises the significant role of the home Care Worker in Dorset who consistently provides a high-quality standard of care for people living in their own homes. Abbots Care receives a ‘Good’ CQC rating
Abbots Care East Dorset has received a Good rating from the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
The inspection took place between 23 and 26 March 2026, when the branch was supporting 37 people receiving personal care in their own homes. CQC highlighted that people were supported by staff who knew them well and understood their individual needs and preferences.
People and their relatives described staff as skilled, motivated and committed, while managers were recognised as visible, approachable and engaged. The report also praised the branch’s open communication, strong governance and commitment to providing safe, person-centred care.
