This year, we were awarded the HCPA Care Culture Award for the second year in a row! The award recognises Abbots Care’s fantastic work place culture and the positive impact it has not only on our employees but also our clients.

Our Annual Care Worker Awards
Our Care Workers Awards are a chance for us to show appreciation for our magnificent Care Workers who are out, making a difference in our communities every day. The awards are something completely unique to us, with a 3-course meal and entertainment supplied free-of-charge for all attendees, it’s a chance for our Care Workers to let their hair down, meet fellow Care Workers, and get the praise and recognition they deserve.
Our Tea Parties
We regularly run tea parties across our regions to bring Abbots Care clients together. Its always great to see Care Workers, office staff, clients and their friends and family coming together over cakes and sandwiches to share stories and have a laugh. The impact of loneliness and isolation on elderly and disabled individuals can be profoundly difficult and we are always focussed on creating shared moments for our clients to enjoy.
With this in mind, we are continuing to create social opportunities going into Christmas and the New Year by offering free companionship to our clients through our not-for-profit company Abbots Friends, as well as hosting our Christmas tea parties in Watford, Welwyn and Dorset.

Abbots Care is lead by an experienced all-female Senior Management Team, Helen Sinden (Operations Director), Sarah Hurley (Care Director), Marie Ostler (Finance Director), and of course, our CEO Camille Leavold. They have built and developed the company based on 6 distinct brand values:

The office also promotes flexible working and has a dog-friendly policy, with our four-legged friends providing a constant morale boost!
